This is what you will do
In the position as Category Manager, you will have responsibility for Lantmännen’s largest centrally managed category in the indirect procurement area, Professional Services. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for the sub-categories, identify and conduct group-wide sourcing projects both in and outside Sweden, negotiate complex agreements, drive SRM activities, while at the same time ensuring high stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
An important part of your role is to build relationships with internal business owners to ensure the necessary buy-in and project support. You will work cross-functionally with teams within HR, Legal, Finance as well as with key stakeholders such as Site Managers, Heads of Operations etc. You will lead sourcing projects and activities both for Lantmännen Group Functions but also for our Business Areas, which will give you a great exposure to the organization. You will work proactively with your stakeholders and contribute to key business decisions related to your category.
The position is part of our Central Procurement function at Group level, which currently consists of 3 teams: Operational Procurement, Procurement Process & Tools and Category Management & Sourcing.
You will report to the Manager of the Category Management & Sourcing Team, and you will be located at Lantmännen’s headquarters in Stockholm. Occasional travelling might occur.

This is what you need to succeed
You have:
- A degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience from a similar position as Category Manager or Sourcing Manager focused on Indirect categories within Professional Services. It is considered a plus if you have been exposed to projects concerning e.g. company cars or consulting services.
- Experience from companies with a complex, international structure where you have been exposed to cross-functional sourcing projects with a focus on stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sourcing strategy, and contract management.
- Proficiency in building fact-based business cases, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
