Foodservice Category & Innovation Manager – Stockholm

Arla Foods Sweden are hiring a Foodservice Category & Innovation Manager to help shape the future of dairy in professional kitchens. This is an important, strategic role that will set the agenda for years to come.

Foodservice has been identified as a growth channel for Arla. Sweden is a pivotal market with a total turnover of 17 billion SEK and thousands of customers across wholesale, national accounts and public sector. We develop and sell several hundreds of unique Foodservice products across all categories and all brands within Arla where Arla® Ko and Arla® Pro are one of the strongest brands within the industry.

As a Foodservice Category & Innovation Manager you will join the Foodservice Marketing team and work collaborative with the full Arla organisation as well with the broader Global Foodservice business functions. You will be a part of a fun, high performing team where you really can make an impact as you will be the first point of contact to build the innovation pipeline and drive category development to secure our long term growth to create the future of dairy. We have strong and close collaboration with our customers and work passionately to deliver on our promise “Partners at heart”.

As Foodservice Category & Innovation Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and activate local category strategy and management and support Arla Pro Brand strategy/plan
  • Leading the creation and delivery of an innovation long term plan that supports our overall growth strategy
  • Drive local customer driven FS innovation pipeline with Global Category- and Innovation teams and local Category
  • Anticipating and generating customer insight that feeds the innovation pipeline with concepts and commercial possibilities
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders both locally and globally to identify and exploit opportunities for future growth
  • Ensuring all projects result in robust business cases, in close cooperation with sales and global category & innovation

 

We want you to be

An experienced marketer with innovation, insight, category or brand management experience with a significant background of working with consumer, shopper and customer insight. This experience need to come from a food, drinks or FMCG company or from the Foodservice sector. You have strong commercial skills and work well with both structure and flexibility.

In order to be successful you are a strong project leader, proactive with the ability to make an impact and build commitment amongst stakeholders across the organisation, both local and global. It means you are also a teamplayer with strong communication skills. You enjoy working with many parallel project, with different level of complexity. You understand the strategic perspective as well as the details and know how to navigate through uncertainty.
