We are seeking a new Associate Director to join our Global Rewards team – someone with the seniority and expertise to help shape the strategic direction of Rewards at Arla Foods.
You’ll be part of our Global Rewards Centre of Excellence, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals recognised for delivering top-tier Rewards and People Performance Management. Our responsibilities also include overseeing Travel Management and Global Mobility solutions and services.
Based at our Headquarters in Viby/Aarhus, you will join a team that supports the global organisation with rewards advisory, processes, data support, and benchmarking. This role reports directly to the Head of Global Rewards.
How you will make an impact
We manage our day-to-day activities within a Partnering, Projects, and Process matrix, and you will play a pivotal role.
Your main responsibilities will likely include
- Leading cross-functional projects related to Executive remuneration and Mergers & Acquisitions
- End-to-end responsibility for one or more of our global rewards processes
- Acting as a partner for one or more areas under Executive Management
- Developing and implementing global rewards strategies that align with business priorities and compliance requirements
- Serving as a trusted sparring partner for senior HR executives and the Head of Global Rewards
- Providing functional leadership and support to colleagues

Additionally, you
- Likely have significant experience with M&A and integration processes
- Hold a Master’s degree and have 8–10 years of relevant experience (e.g., in HR, Strategy, Finance, Consultancy)
- Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and numeric skills, handling tasks in a structured, detail-oriented way
