How you will make an impact
In this highly commercial role, you will lead and develop a regional business cluster within Arla’s International Distributor Sales organisation, with full profit and loss responsibility. Based in Copenhagen, you will work from our modern office in Carlsberg Byen and collaborate closely with distributors and internal stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Operations and Product Management. Moreover, you will;
- Own and develop a regional business cluster across multiple international distributor markets
- Drive profitable growth through strong commercial execution, brand building and distributor management
- Plan and execute sales activities in close collaboration with distributors, including forecasting, pricing and order flow planning
- Act as a key commercial sparring partner internally and externally, ensuring strong cross‑functional alignment
- Contribute to best‑in‑class sales and export management across strategically important markets
You should expect approximately 30-40 travel days per year as part of this role.
What will make you successful
You bring a strong commercial mindset combined with international sales experience. You hold a higher education within Business Administration, Commerce or a related field, and you have some years of experience working in international FMCG sales and export markets, ideally with hands‑on exposure to distributor management or key account management and clear P&L responsibility. You are financially astute, comfortable working with forecasts, pricing models and performance follow‑up, and you navigate IT tools with confidence.
Just as importantly, you thrive in complex, multicultural environments and build trust across diverse cultural, social and business settings. You are motivated by taking ownership, driving results and turning strategic ambition into tangible commercial outcomes in close collaboration with others. You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing – it would be advantage if you also speak Portuguese, Spanish or French.
