HL is looking for a new star to help fuel our growth even further within one of our five core categories – merchandising solutions. Merchandising solutions is growing double digit and already represents around 1/3 of global HL sales. We are expanding our offering further to extend our global market leading position, and the product manager’s role is to own and drive this category globally.
As Product Manager you will work in a global environment and take the overall ownership for managing the category, from strategic planning to tactical activities. Part of this overall ownership will be to maximise the value of the existing portfolio: partnering with trade marketing to develop the commercial angle trough analyzing sales, trends and profitability; and taking true ownership for the portfolio and industrial process ensuring that the multi-functional team across r&d, factories and hubs deliver great products and solutions that are smartly produced and delivered. This also entails developing the winning pricing strategy, continuous monitoring of range performance, and monthly tracking of selected KPIs.
Looking ahead, this is one of the key growth categories for HL. As responsible for innovation pipeline, recommending which future opportunities to go for and taking lead in transforming ideas into new products together with customers, marketing, sales, R&D/production, you have the chance to make your mark in a big way. Not least as HL is looking to shift into a portfolio increasingly made form renewable plastics vs fossil based plastics.
This role reports directly to the Group Marketing Director who is part of the company’s executive team.
To be successful in this role you will be a driven individual who enjoys responsibility and working together with others to get things done. This requires ownership, communications skills, team collaboration across function, business savviness, project leadership skills, fuelled by a positive attitude. Previous experience of industrial process and/or product management is a must.
