About our Emerging Technology team at Axel Johnson

At the head office, the emerging Tech team is responsible for:

• Future analysis of Emerging Tech – Active, relevant, and conclusion-driven analyses. Examples: GenAI in Food distribution, Actionable AI: the second phase of the AI wave, The future of web, The future of computing, Blockchain & Traceability, The Coming of Bioengineering. Newsletters from AxTech.
• Networks – Leverage our collective intelligence in Axel Johnson Group bringing our people together from our companies in networks to collaborate, share knowledge and insights.
• Equip the organization with knowledge and skills. Strategy- and AI workshops, seminars, lectures, speeches on different topics for our companies
• Tech initiatives – strategic initiatives in the group & lighthouse use cases.
• External network – Expand Axel Johnson network and collaboration in tech.

 

What you will do as tech analyst in the Emerging Technology team

Examples of tasks you will do in the team are:

• Participate in research of new emerging tech topics
• Write presentations, newsletters and reports
• Participate in workshops and present findings
• Communicate our work in different settings to our companies and external stakeholders
• Organize network events

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a humble, analytical, driven and mature candidate with a bachelor or master in the fields of business, economics, engineering, IT or equivalent. You have recently graduated or have some work experience after finalizing your studies.

Participation in extracurricular activities or work experience in parallel with your studies is meritorious. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must and you need to be an EU citizen or have a Swedish work permit.

• You are interested in Emerging Tech topics, but you do not need to be an engineer to work in our team.
• You have strong communication skills, good at writing and making presentations and a collaborative mindset. You act professionally and business-like in everything you do.
• You have a courageous, curious, and humble mindset.
• You like to seek and to explore new ideas, and have a genuine interest in building and developing businesses.
• You take ownership, are committed, self-driven and have strong integrity.
• You share our values and want to join us on our path towards our goal.

The position is based in Stockholm at Villagatan 6 and the candidate starts as soon as possible. The position reports to our Executive Vice President Emerging Technology. Salary is 38 000 SEK/months.

Axel Johnson can offer you one year employment in the Emerging Tech team (projektanställning). After the initial year, the person will have good possibilities to find a suitable role within one of our companies (not guaranteed, but good possibilities).
