Arla’s business strategy rests on a solid foundation – our mission, identity and vision. It serves as an operational guide to how we, as a business, aim to create value for our farmer owners towards 2020. We want to develop our role as a global food company that adds value to people’s lives through natural nutrition and responsible operations.
In order to succeed, we will:
We want to be the global leader in value-added whey.
Creating the future of dairy to bring health and inspiration to the world, naturally…” That is the vision of Arla.
Our mission: Arla’s mission is to secure the highest value for our farmers’ milk while creating opportunities for their growth.” – As a cooperative company owned by milk producers, our task is to ensure that we can create as much value as possible from the milk producers’ milk – and thereby achieve a competitive milk price for them – for both our owners and other suppliers.
In Arla Foods our values build on an ambition which is to create one global Arla Foods. A central part of our values are Our Character: Lead – Sense – Create. We strive to have a leading mindset, a sensing approach and a creative culture.
Lead – Sense – Create must define us in everything we do and say. This is why we have incorporated them into our daily work. With a common character, we can achieve the targets set out in our mission, vision and strategy. The stronger our common character, the better we will become at delivering results. It is all about striving for the highest possible potential.
LEAD is about taking the lead, being in the driver’s seat in all our actions. It is about being passionate, striving for leadership and identifying the highest potential in our people, business and relationships.
SENSE is about perceiving our people, consumers and the world around us. It is about showing integrity, having an open mind, seeing opportunities and high potential in our people, business and relationships.
Arla is owned by 12,500 farmers from seven different countries, and as a cooperative company, our mission is to secure the highest value for our farmers’ milk while creating opportunities for their growth. The Arla F15® Graduate Programme is flexible to match the individual yet structured to ensure that you are exposed to a versatile picture of Arla Foods as a company and workplace. The programme consists of three job rotations of eight months each.

Team trainings accelerate your development.
The F15® Graduate Programme begins in September with a thorough introduction course to the various fundamentals of the Arla value chain – what we call ‘From Cow to Consumer’.
During the Graduate Programme you will attend team trainings with your F15 colleagues. Arla designs the team trainings targeted to you and closely linked to your role in the organisation. The training enhances your performance and people skills to boost your professional and personal development within business strategy, organisational understanding, project management and leadership competence.
To anchor your new skills, you will conduct two team projects with your F15® colleagues, one of which will be on innovation. These projects are an add-ons to your job and you will involve and report to stakeholders from across Arla. Performance reviews to keep you on track.
During and at the end of each rotation, your host manager will evaluate your performance and behaviour in the current position: Did you reach the objectives and how? This input will inspire you to work with your Personal Development Plan and bring focus to your strengths and areas for improvement.
Arla Talents as your personal sponsor
Throughout the F15® Graduate Programme, you will be coached by a personal sponsor from our Talent Acceleration Programme (Senior Managers and Directors) who will guide you on your Personal Development Plan and help you build strong networks with colleagues and decision makers.
